Is this the worst 1-0 team ever?

Bigs handling the ball too much, no back to the basket moves down low? Shooting the ball with 10-15 seconds left on the clock? Are we trying to give the opponent more possessions? Launching threes like we don’t care about shot selection? Missing lay ups and dunks? Brandon Garrison allowed to shoot and hog the ball, and not yanked out of the game for making two mistakes? Isn’t the first enough? We need to run more half court sets and slow the pace a little, they are playing recklessly. I don’t know if Mark Pope is going to be able to handle this job. Good Lord.

I mean, Kentucky only scored 103, and won by 41, while Bama scored 110 and won by 56. I mean, we missed way too many threes late. I mean, even Vandy scored 102 in their game. Could be worse; we would be South Carolina who lost to North Florida tonight.

I agree plus we didn’t Run or Go all game. We didn’t even run the weave a single time.

Wait a minute, not to mention we ran a play each time we took the ball out under the basket and IIRC we scored each time. That again is voodoo. Maybe Cody F is over on the bench with little dolls and pins to cause issues to the opposition. Maybe Pope has some occult chick on the sidelines working spells on the other team. No way this is just regular basketball. Is Wanda back from the dead?

They are going to have to work on the lob to the big at the top of the key inbound play a lot.

Get used to it. A fully functional Mark Pope offense has a Point Center at the top of the key.

I agree with the OP.

How are you supposed to win when you make an assist on almost every basket? This is supposed to be.a players first program, not about the team.
Also, I noticed that the players had smiles on their faces and actually cheered the other team members on. This is not supposed to be fun, this is all about getting to the NBA.
I am thoroughly disappointed

The only thing I remember Smokey for is how far he had his head up Tubby's butt...his most blindly loyal supporter. Reminds me of a couple of last year's Cal-bois now that I'm thinking on it
