I thought it was particularly interesting how much praise Netanyahu heaped on Obama to start that speech, namely how much support Obama has given to Israel during his time in office.

Conservatives simply envy the fact Israel has a better leader the US

currently. Plus conservatives have an affinity toward Israel that the left once had. The right has not followed the lefts drift toward the palestinian authority, Iran, Muslim brotherhood ect and away from Israel. It would take a visit from one of those leaders to generate similar excitement in the left.

No fan of Putin. Sure he has better leadership skills than our current leader, but Putin is an enemy, a despot and would be worse for a democracy than even o.

Most dictators have good leadership skills, or at least appear to have them. Of course crushing the opposing voices makes it sound like everyone agrees with you. That's what I hear some people claim that Obama tries to do, but Putin actually does it, and, surprisingly, his approval ratings are awesome. I'd love to see those poll questions though:

Do you approve of Putin?
A) Whole heartedly
b) Prison sounds like fun

I see the strawman is back in force. I'm a GOP and I don't believe in heaven or hell. I also fully support Israel as our biggest ally in the region. They are in a fight for their very existence on a daily basis. It's amazing to see the show of force they continually display in their daily lives and requiring every citizen to serve a tour. They are a model I wish we could follow in that regard. Awesome and beautiful country steeped in history. Food is great, women are gorgeous, and beaches are amazing.
