Once we got Marcus, he wasn't coming here. Also worth noting that it doesn't appear Eli is bothered by it

The Cards have one hell of a program and a lot of history and trophies in the case to sell to kids. Just have to tip our hats and try to find someone else.

Carolina really missed the boat by not going after Pat Kelsey.Coached at Winthrop and C of C winning big at both places.High energy guy who could have turned Carolina around quickly.

I think I remember reading that Kelsey has some sort of beef with the University of South Carolina and he would not ever consider coming here.

I have to agree, maybe he sees this program is in the shi*tter

Probably. Even if he had committed, it's not likely he'd have remained committed after we can Paris.

I'm just not sure I see the other poster's logic: "we already got a commitment from one good player, so we didn't need him."

Are we limited to one good player in each class? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen some schools sign multiple highly rated players.
If Paris is around next year and players return, we would have elder Ellis and Johnson. We would be awfully small having 3 guards 6-2 or smaller and I don't think Ellis is 6'0". More like 5'10".
