Great to see Isiah sharing the post-game interview with Mahomes. Between his play and McCourty in the studio, great PR for RU.

Andy Reid just singled out Pacheco for his performance tonight, too...

Are Pacheco and Mike Trout by far the most notable athletes to ever come out of that corner of the state?

Towards the end of the game, Collinsworth and Tirico both remarked about Pacheco playing back in his "hometown" which is a little different than saying home state/NJ (mentioned a few times by Tirico earlier in the broadcast). Hometown is kind of a clumsy reference and could make more sense if the game was in Philly against the Eagles, despite not being in the same state as his hometown.

Vineland is nowhere near MetLife Stadium (125 miles) and is obviously closer to Lincoln Financial in Philadelphia (the "local" TV market for his hometown) but is also about 15-20 miles closer to M&T Bank in Baltimore. Granted, neither PA nor MD are his "home" state nor would the latter ever be referred to as him playing in his hometown, but neither should MetLife.

I was there last night. Pleasantly surprised at the number of Pacheco jerseys in the crowd. The Jet fans around me were commenting on how strong he runs.

It bothers me greatly, for some reason, that he's not getting paid like the offensive weapon he has become. Lowest paid RB on the team, yet the best runner, receiver and blocker of the group. Big time play maker, high energy guy and he's getting $880k surrounded by guys making $4-$15M. . How could the Chiefs not have stepped up a little after last year. Pay him.

After the Mahomes int, the OC looked at everything and says, "We got to get the ball into #10's hands, we shouldn't go away from him." Ball goes right down the field. If your that guy, you're an $8-$15m a year guy.
It’s his 2nd year in the league and he plays a position that no longer gets long term guaranteed contracts. Look at Barkleys contract.

Should RU fans claim Blackshear as a Rutgers guy? 🥴
The question is, does Blackshear claim Rutgers ? Or does he call himself a VTech guy? Maybe he just identifies as a Philly guy.

Hmmm.. in the future will we be seeing into videos where players mention 2 schools because of all the transferring?

Guys like him are the reason running backs dont get them. 7th round draft pick! And that is not a knock on Pop, just the way the league is now.

Tirico also said during the game - he played 10 miles down the road at Rutgers.

It's too much to expect that hack-*** announcers would actually be prepared or look at a map. Especially when NJ is involved. It was a moral victory that they acknowledged that Met Life Stadium was in NJ. This is why I watch games with the sound off.

so he shouldn't honor the contract he gladly signed?
he'll get paid at end of season

For sure. Pretty awesome that KC has really embraced him.

But he’s not getting 15 mil… that’s CMC money - and they can only afford that because they’re paying their QB about 2% of his market value.

CBS cutting to Taylor Swift celebrating and missing Pop’s touchdown dance is infuriating.
Lol, did they show him score?

You mad they interrupted your bromance and didn't show your favorite player dance? & instead showed a pop icon?

Sorry but more people probably tuned in to see Taylor vs Pop's dance moves. It's not part of the actual game anyway, so does it really matter?

I just care they show the plays of the game. Everything else is for the non fans or fringe fans.
