Has he been fired yet?
It’s the worst loss in our history given the context/opponent and thats saying something. And Big Ten/SEC football isnt what it used to be, now in this crazy world. All bets are off sorry.I know many might want him fired yesterday but I don't know that we've had precedent for a firing after 1 game into the season. Mind you that was a pretty unprecedented loss.
I think I read Helton might have been fired after game 2 at USC. In season firings are more common though and it's something I wouldn't have thought would happen with GS even if he did get fired. If the rails continued to fall off as the season went on, I can't rule it out now.
This should be the guy to turn to as the interim head coach. He has the most head coaching experience on the coaching staff. 80-9, 0.899 win percentage at any level is impressive coaching.
Maybe because he is more suited to being a head coach than a position coach something he hasn't had to do in almost 20 years. He even became an OC for one year b4 HC.Did he coach anyone? I didn’t see one end with a pass rush all game.
