I know some of you old foggys don’t like them.

but over the years I swear we always win big games in them. Now I’m lying in bed rn, so I don’t have stats go back it up, but I’m telling you we win big ones with those on.

last year one of ours put it best when they said we love wearing black because it’s their funeral. Now that’s a classic duke line and and we’ve won big games in those outfits. Like it or not, they are becoming a true part of duke culture.


Meanwhile, at home we lost to sorry SFA wearing WHITE. The blue devils can’t wear blue at home. Bah.

Put K's back against the wall and he pulls out all the stops- almost always! I was not surprised to see the black unis, i was not at all surprised to see us bring the fight! Gosh Dang I love that man!!

What a terrific night. The season is going as a lot of us predicted so far, probably better really on a lot of fronts. Some really good nights, and some stinkers. Gonna be a very fun year

Yesterday on Duke's twitter or Instagram they had really really good video hyping the black uniforms- mainly about bright lights, biggest stages, etc = big time wins in the black uniforms!

Does anyone know a resource that shows how often we were black compared to blue? It's gotta be at least even, right? If not black more?

The frequency we see them, especially compared to the blue, should tell you if black is one of the Duke colors at this point. ;)

Ok, ok. I'll admit something. I'm as superstitious as it gets. Never really like the black uni's, but something about the ones last night definitely had a lil badass in them. Pretty sharp actually. But you "youngins" would LOVE some of those old school Duke blues like Maggette and company wore. You look up badass in the dictionary and there's a full page photo of them. ;)

I LOVE the black unis. I’d also be in favor of wearing gray at home more often.

FTB you have become a Duke traditionalist. You man also start yearning for vintage Duke basketball. The great defense, above average free throw shooting, some good one basic fundamental basketball, would be just as excited to see a steal and a break away layout up as to a dunk or if it is missed a dink. You yearn for a beautiful screen which sets up a JJ or an Alaskan Assassin 3 , a majority veteran team but we have to face reasily in this milineal world. Our beautiful traditonal colors are giving way to black, gray, camouflage, zebra stripes, tie dye, Army green, peanut butter swirl and even throw up . It's here buddy and we are just going to have to deal with it. Maybe dirt in his spare time. Maybe he could come up with about 4 or 5 butt ugly color schemes and let this board pick out our future colors. While we are on the subject maybe the Coach K floor needs a do over similar to the Oregon Ducks. :D OFC

I think the blacks will be used in the big road games from here on out. When RJ said what he said, it pretty much stamped those as the official road uniforms. Every class from here on out will want to wear them
