For me personally…

1.) No. I don’t think he makes much of a difference.
2.) Yes a little. He’s the only real potential difference maker.
3.) lol no. I think the team actually plays worse with him starting due to having 3 guys who can’t shoot on the floor.

Honestly, expecting any or even all those things to bail out this team is like being on the Titanic after the iceberg has ripped a giant gash below the water line and saying, "as long as the pumps kick in, and we can repair the holes in a couple of the compartments, and anyway there are plenty of life boats."

None of the guys mentioned, nor all of them together, make this a Final Four quality team. It's a team of sixth and seventh men on a good college team, with the possible exception of a healthy Oweh and maybe Quaintance, who knows, being asked to play against guys who'll be in the NBA soon.

Jayden Olajuwon will take this team to the next level with his 9 points and 7 rebounds a game. Let's just be patient. Sure, we'll have at least 6 losses by the time he plays in early January, but we'll become a title contender soon thereafter. Just got to be patient. Don't give up on Pope, fellas. He's the right man for the job. Mitch knows it, and he told his Sunday School class so.
