I regularly listen to IC Pods. Last week learned that iTicket Law is a sponsor and listened to quite a story from Jason Staples about getting a ticket in Harnett County last year and the great service provided by iTicket Law in disposing of said ticket and saving many thousands of dollars.

North Carolina has an online filing system for criminal and civil matters and there is no record of any such citation. Marketing is one thing but wholesale creating a story is another and not a good reflection for iTicket Law. Wouldn't have given this a second thought but for the inordinate amount of time spent discussing said firm on recent podcasts.

Not saying you are right or wrong but wanted to add the caveat that the search feature on Odyssey is absolutely atrocious. You can name search multiple times in a row and get different results

if the ticket was dismissed there wouldn't be a record of it; most traffic lawyers can get a few tossed completely each month and no court costs or anything are paid (source: fixed traffic tickets in New Hanover)
That is not correct. Even a dismissed citation will show within the court's records.

The real question here is why are you looking up his traffic tickets?

I can't listen to the Day after Podcast b/c of Jason. I know most love his insight, but the arrogance is too much for me to stomach.
