The reported revelation comes weeks after a declassified 2020 House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) report into the origins of the debunked allegation that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.
The bombshell analysis revealed how the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) ordered by President Obama contained uncorroborated evidence (and omitted other critical information) to push the false narrative that Russia wanted Trump to win. It further shined a light on the nefarious activities of high-level intel figures, whom the report showed were instrumental in manipulating the ICA to perpetuate the hoax.
I'm not positive anyone will ever be tried for these treasonous activities, but there is a criminal referral from DNI Director Tulsi Gabbard that was also filed with this information. However we need to know exactly what these scoundrels did to try to undercut the will of the American people, so we can make sure it never happens again. If there are criminal violations of the Law that can be prosecuted, I hope the perps are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law. This is an important process to maintain the rule of Law in this country!
