4 and 2 and not looking inept against Florida and yes we might be happier. 3 and 3 and destroyed by Florida and falling apart against Southern Mississippi and barely squeaking by a horrible Vanderbilt and of course people are not happy. That isn't even counting the horrible first half against New Mexico State.
4-2 is where most fans would have predicted we would be. I also think most fans would have expected a more consistent team through the first six games. That's where the frustration comes from. Not a record of 3-3, rather the possibility of ending the season 4-8.

What I'm trying to say is 4~2 (would) have been our best case scenario. Not that we are 4~2 So our season thus far has not been a devastating failure. Some people always think that mystical coach with top 5 recruiting skills and top 5 ranking is only a hire away. Let's give the coaching staff some due Sunday morning quarterbacks

Yes, and I think next year we can compete in the East. This year though, we should be happy with making a bowl and continuing to build momentum in the program.
Just look at U of L right now and look at UK. UK is ranked at the bottom of most categories offensively and defensively. That;s why fans are upset. It;s year 4 and UK is just as bad as they were when Stoops took over. QB situation is a mess. Teams are gonna load the box now and make UK pass, which ain't gonna be good. The record is deceiving.
What momentum? If you think tonight did anything other than give Stoops another meaningless win, then yea.
