This is a winnable game tonight even though Coffey is back for the Gophers. Its time to put it all together and pick up a road win if we are going to keep any type of our already on life support tournament, of any type, hopes alive. I believe this will be a close game and come down to who takes care of the ball better. Turnovers will kill us against a team like the Gophers on the road. We need to get back and be set on defense. If they beat us from deep then they deserve to win, but we can’t let them get out and run on us. If we are going to go on a winning streak this is our time. We get a solid 6 days off before going to Ann Arbor. Lets go out there and find a way to get this one.

The turnovers were bad. Almost all of them led to Minnesota points. That first stretch with the subs was brutal.

But NU hung in there, weathered a barrage of contested 3s that fell for Minnesota, threw some punches of their own, and it's a 6-point game.

You can tell they want this one.
