I would have taken the Baylor Job i wonder why he turned that down or maybe they decided they didn't want him ?

I have mixed feelings about that. I'm with you initially but the Big 12 is question.
P

Probably because he is smart. Baylor might be in all kinds of trouble here soon.
That and who knows what's going to happen to the Big 12.

I think it's a good gig for Brohm. Baylor is a cesspool going all the way back to the murder and now the sexual assault cover up.

If Brohm gets Purdue to 6-6 with a minor bowl he's a success. I think he's good enough of a coach to do that, and they'll give him time to build the team he wants.

There are way better football players down there Jeff would get that program right and young guys want to play for him and relate to him if you have ever seen video of him pumping up his guys pregame it will make you want to run through your living room wall. Purdue has not been relavent since Drew Bree's its a dumpster fire plus he has to beat well you know. He could compete at Baylor from the starting gate.

Purdue is a perfect stepping stone to his eventual landing spot in Louisville. If he can prove himself there then i hope we snatch him up when the time comes.

I'm happy for Jeff, but I still believe he will eventually return home to run the Cardinals program when it comes his time. Louisville is in his blood. He'll do well at Purdue. I know he will.

I think most Purdue fans realize that and are more than okay with that. If he's here for 5 years for example and turns us around before coming back to UL, he'll leave us in a MUCH better place than we're at right now.

Jeff is a winner. He will do well at Purdue. The football program has everything a coach could ever want. A GREAT academic university in a power 5 program to build into a winner. If it wasn't for his close family ties to UofL, I could see this job as a destination job for him because he's that kind of person. Who really knows? He might fall in love with the Boilermaker program and make it his permanent home.

Yeah he is the heir apparent to come home i can't watch him play Louisville next year i don't want to see it. He needs a top DC up there and him and Brian have the offense covered i also see the kids that transfer from here being sent right up there to him.
