Best facilities is a stretch. Have you seen Crisler arena or whatever OSU place is called. How about Maryland's digs? No way in hell you have more cash the OSU, Michigan or MSU has. Doubt if you outdraw everyone in the Big ten. After watching tonight's game, you need more than an competent coach. Sorry but your living in the past. Maybe Bobby will come back and save you or throw another chair.

Come visit Bloomington. Than you will have a better understanding.

Isn't that part of the point - people don't or don't want to visit Bloomington unless they have to - similar to champaign. I would also add Wisconsin to the list of programs that have blown past IU.

Bloomington is a really nice town, no doubt. I have always enjoyed my visits. And soon enough you will be able to get there via interstate.

I think the broader trend with college kids is a strong preference for urban or metro environments.Of course there are exceptions, but application and enrollment trends back this up.

Indiana is a blue blood job. Not a blue blood program, but a blue blood job. A lot of coaches know what kind of success you can have there.

Think about this. Crean is a very poor coach. Yet, he has won 2 Big Ten Championships in the last 4 years. Thats the pedigree that IU has. They dont even need a home run hire. If they land a decent mid-major coach, they'll be fine.
