He's a bright guy - particularly in chemical engineering. He also had a Fullbright scholarship to MIT, but met Grace Jones and fell in love. They moved to New York and after being a bouncer for awhile he had a chance to act and he had a new career.

Does he have any connection to South Carolina?
He has a part in a movie named "Straight Shot" being filmed in Columbia.

From the article... "The film, also starring David A.R. White, Rachel Leigh Cook, and Tyrese Gibson, is shooting in downtown Columbia through August 29."

OK, so no connection to the university? I didn't know if he had a kid enrolled or some kind of connection to the school.

Not that I'm aware of. He did get an advanced degree from Clemson, so I guess he has a weak connection to the state of South Carolina.

Correction: Figures the Greenville News would try to link him to Clemson (they have "who studied at Clemson" in their headline), but I can't find any mention of it elsewhere. So there's probably no proof of that tenuous link provided by the pro-Clemson rag.

Brilliant guy. Turned down a Fulbright Scholarship to MIT to become a bodyguard.

I don't think he graduated from Clemson.
