I've been wanting to thread this for a long time now and that time has come.

Ok first of all Grayson Allen shouldn't intentionally tripping opponents. I realize he hates to lose and is a competitor but you just got to check those emotions. With that said just because every player that falls down around him doesn't mean Grayson has tripped him. I'm afraid we are going to see a new take on the art of flopping. If Grayson does return expect a couple of players to fall down anytime they are in the vicinity of Grayson. I'm tired of our brilliant rivals calling out Grayson's character when the following cast of Tar Heel family have their own list of former players withnot only character issues but human being issues.


1. Makhtar N'diaye.( A) Might as well start at the top. Spit in the face of an opposing basketball player during the NCAA tourney and lied about that player saying a racial slur. (B) Making a throat slash in front of Coach K's family and the Duke bench at a loss to UNC at the Dean Dome. C. Jumping on the scorers table and acting a fool by taunting Duke fans. I might add that he was recruited by Dean Smith. A real piece of work this guy was and most UNC fans if you ask them don't know who he is.

2. Rasheed "Mr. T." Wallace. Does he still hold the record for techs in the N.B.A.

3. Rashard McCants. Has anyone heard what has happened to him? Seems like he has disappeared from the face of the earth. I wonder how much it cost to disappear from the face of the earth.

4. Joe Forte. Coach Dean Smith had no problems with him leaving UNC for the NBA when it was so obvious he wasn't ready. Wonder where he's at now.

5. Jeff McGinnis. He loved making gestures in Cameron as well as loving his coach's wife.

6. Ty Lawson. Does he even have a driver's license?

7. Melvin Scott. How many times has he been charged with sexual assault? ssshh rape?

8. P.J. Hairston. Too many things to mention. Even the Charlotte Hornheels don't want him.

I know I've misses some but don't want to be too harsh. OFC

And given what we've learned about the "carolina way" these last 5+ years , only the most hypocritical d-bags would dare cast aspersions on Duke. The tarhole nation qualifies on both counts , of course. That said , I'm cool with Grayson. Don't get me wrong that very first trip vs Louisville(?) I had a problem with. Not a good look. But the FSU game?! Allen retaliated. The guy made a b-line for Grayson to talk some junk , popped 'im on the back of the head & started to run off. Grayson tripped 'im. Two wrongs never make a right but to this day very few will talk about that incident with any objectivity whatsoever. Both players were wrong. Is what it is. But putting all the blame on Grayson? Nope. What if the FSU kid had , say , torn an ACL over some silly crap like that? Woulda been unfortunate but HE did it. Seconds left in the game...just walk off the court an' go home. He couldn't do it. Had to be a jerk. Ya get what ya get.

A Duke apology for a harmless comment and subsequent media brush off isn't comparable to decades of systemic lies and fake enrollment. You're not bringing much logic to this debate. Go watch your Heels today, it'll make you feel better.

Unc fans can invent issues to try to bring K or Duke down a notch, but K will always be the greatest coach in the history of Acc basketball, he will always have as many championships personally as the entire UNC basketball program, and they will have always perpetrated the greatest institutional academic fraud in the history of the NCAA. That's a lot of history. So if guys like that want to blow up what was said in the handshake line, or whatever minuscule issue they can dig up, it just shows their ignorance and hatred (that includes the media).

This may be splitting hairs, but Dean Smith had retired before Joe Forte was at UNC so he didn't have anything to do with that situation I'd imagine.
