I've lost all confidence in Mark Stoops as a head coach

I am much more concerned about the lack of effort, terrible body language, players only meetings, announcers destroying our schemes and preparation, 8 men on the field, and just general ineptitude than I am wins and losses right now.

Oh yeah, also flabbergasted at how we have regressed as the season went on two years in a row.

People wouldn't be so upset if they didn't first have unrealistic expectations based on nothing but their hopes and dreams. Nothing, especially at UK is going to be built in 3 years. If people truly believed that, they are truly delusional. Nothing can be done to satisfy them

I've given up on him as well. 2 years in a row of this is no doubt coaching. Fan base is about to be lost for good

Fair point, but we are talking about this year's UK team. Brooks would not have worked any magic with Towle's or our crappy O-line. UK is losing the last 3 games regardless of coach...maybe we beat AU with Brooks. I'll give him that. I think he could definitely win out so 7-5 for sure with Brooks. He was good at that.

At what point do we need to start looking at an AD who insults his own customers and has hired 2 straight coaches with no HC experience? First one was a disaster and the second one headed that way.

I don't buy that. Brooks would have this team much more disiplined and probably be sitting 7-2 right now.

I think Tennessee and MSU would have run over us but the other games he would have won. He'd be 6-3 at worst right now and probably finish 9-3 and lose in a bowl game because that would net a us a good opponent.

I do think it is time to get Bud Foster in here and Stoops need to let someone go if there is no room on the staff. we can win these last three games but everything has to click, and that is scary. We will need a fresh start next year and some new experienced coaches would be a good place to start.

Some of you guys are reveling in the loss because you love saying I told you so as much as you love team success.

But be objective - the most insane sunshine pumpers had us winning 1 out of these last 3 games.

I'll never understand people who get really high off of blasting a nobody (basketball board right now) or really low off of getting blasted by a way better recruiting team at home (football board right now). If it's what you expected, then why does actually seeing it shock you? Because you're being emotional.

There's no coach we could hire that is going to have us with a winning record in the SEC over any reasonable stretch of time. We have by far the worst recruiting state in the conference - ours is literally one of the worst recruiting states in the country, and all the other SEC schools are among the best recruiting states in the country - and we're never gonna beat OSU with any regularity for the great Ohio kids.

If he wins 6 games and plays respectable in a bowl in year 3 after inheriting a 2 win team in the SEC, I'll be okay with that - I don't GAF how "down" the conference looks this year - they still have better players than us.

We have good youngsters coming up, but even when they mature, some people are gonna be whining if we manage to go .500 in SEC play, when the reality is, Stoop's very best young classes are average at best for the SEC, so that would actually be a very respectable turnout.

As for the guy saying we never looked this bad under joker - LOL

Life is all about expectations. In the modern CFB landscape - unless our next hire is a sorcerer who can shift the country's demographics with the wave of a wand, it's always gonna be a building job just to get to "mediocre in the SEC", and our ceiling will be not too much higher than that. If you can't deal with that, then go be one of those Bama/UK two sport numbnuts.

I know that the eeyores have the momentum on the board after 3 straight crappy games, so go back to crying and flinging your tampons at each other.

Yeah that is true. But you fail to realize:
(a) that team was 'good' because they were well coached and not vice versa.
(b) that team didn't go 9-3 because your record always reflects your strength of schedule: the SEC was stacked that year and faced an exponentially tougher schedule than we have this year. I would bet that this team could go 9-3 under brooks with this schedule.

What depth does this team have? Do we have a QB on this roster as good as Woodson? What about d-line and LBs? The answer is no. That 7-5 team was MUCH deeper than this team and more talented in the most important areas.

And if we had their records right now we would be acting like Stoops is a God. Their bad is good for us at this point in our history. We have to get to what they consider bad years before we can get to what they consider good years.

If you guys are ever going to compete in the SEC you better get SEC type of kids and that would require a large number of your players coming fro Florida, Georgia and Alabama, not leftovers from OHIO. I know, go away. Some day you will see Im right

You can't jump off the ship before the season ends. If we do not make the bowl and get the extra practice reps then it will be a massive overhaul

It's not the wins and losses that are pissing everyone off. It's the Three Stooges mentality on the field we see every game. Two years in a row now we have started off strong and pissed the rest of the season away. There's just no excuse for that. We can barely beat EKU! That's a coaching problem more than a talent problem. Two years in a row now our offense can't move the ball and that has an effect on the defensive side of the ball where our defense is on the field so much they can't maintain a high level of play throughout the entire season. Towles needs to ride the pine. He has a big arm with no accuracy and poor decision making. Swindle needs to give up football. He's one of the worst lineman i've ever seen. Players like those two need to sit and others need to be given a chance because you can't get any worse at this point. Barker should have gotten far more reps by now.

Why do people think that KY football should be able to achieve in 3 years what other teams in the same situation or maybe better talent wise require at least 4 or 5 years. I don't like watching them struggle either. In fact I stop watching when the play becomes so bad but I do believe we will be better under CMS. I looked at the offense graphic today and realized how little experience these young men have. I believe it will be better but fans should be patient with CMS. At my age I have learned that patience does pay off if one has the guts to allow for it in most areas of life.

-while the delivery/verbage/panic is over the top. There is absolutely reason to question the staff...in reality there are responsible for the play/mistakes of the players.

-I expected 7-5. Loses to UT/MSU/UGA/UF/AU Don't bother me as my expectations were realistic. However the *** whippings of the last 3 weeks/sh*tty coaching performance is really disconcerting.

-i prefer to be positive...its getting very hard to do so.

FL is 7-1 and top 10. They went 4-8 two years ago (You must be an old geezer to have forgotten that dumpster fire of a FL team). Auburn went 3-9 (0-8) in the SEC in 2012 I think....so yeah, wrong there as well. You may be right on UGA with their injuries, too lazy to check.

UK has a head coach that is actually worried that the offense may score too quick. Just let that sink in for a second. We're not talking about killing clock when you have a lead. We're talking about during the game. Good grief if that doesn't tell you how unprepared he is to be a head coach, you just don't want to know.
Every offense wants balance, but if you can score, you score....period. To me it speaks to the lack of confidence he has in the defense and the DC. If that is an actual concern then you have big problems.

Three years is enough for any good coach to start seeing results. There is no reason it should take longer.
