Jordan Griffin got a big bump to a 5.8 4* and ranked 204 overall. He seems really solid too. The secondary is looking better and better with the young starters, red shirt freshman and incommoding freshman next year. Griffin and Gilliam. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gilliam get a bump to either a 5.7 3* or even a 4*. He was the best defensive player on the Ohio D1 State runner up team.

The question now is whether he'll get a UGA offer once Ansley is on staff, which is expected to happen any day now.

I know it doesn't fit the narrative but really is evidence there's no anti-UK conspiracy in the rankings. Historically low rankings led to historically poor results. Give the new guys time in the program and we'll find out whether the improved rankings lead to better play, or whether they're off/development's not there.

Stoops has shown the ability to identify talent before other programs take notice. This is especially evident in the secondary (his specialty). Take Edwards, West, Walker, Gilliam & Griffin were all identified early before all the big boys offered.

If Ansley leaves the UK staff, Griffin is likely to de-commit IMO, regardless of whether he would ultimately get an UGA offer. Then again, perhaps he has a stronger bond with the other commits than I know about. Would sure hate to lose him.

ARC.....I'm sure you follow UGA recruiting....If Ansley makes the move, do you think Griffin will get the offer? looks like you have 3 DBs committed and a young 2 deep secondary. I'm thinking DB is not a high priority for you this cycle. Thoughts?

thx

Landon Young also moved up 34 spots I believe and is now a 6.0 4star and is the 4th best OT.
