Whether or not Kyrie is part of the Brotherhood isn't even something one can have an opinion on - it is an undeniable, undebatable fact that he is very much part of the Brotherhood, and we are damn lucky to have him.
He also was the first top 5 recruit K landed in over 5 years. Prior to him, it was Josh McRoberts going all the way back to 2005. We whiffed on numerous top recruits in that span..Greg Monroe, Harrison Barnes, John Wall etc.
Not only did Kyrie get the recruiting train rolling again. He played a huge part in making Duke the "cool" program in the eyes of High School kids. The insane ball-handling, the crazy mixtapes, being the #1 pick all were in Duke's favor, and a massive reason we now have the #1 class every single year and can seemingly get whoever we want.
Kyrie always sports Duke gear and creates Duke shoes, he's a big part of Brotherhood.
