Kinda fishy how it just popped up. I really don't have a problem if he just doesn't want to play but just man up with the truth.

I was in the military with a huge UM fan. He's been there all week watching them practice and he said he's dressed for all the practicesbut barely participated. Sat out almost all drills. I think him and coaches all knew they're just playin it this way to keep heat down but imo it looks even more shady this way.

Man i hope he is hurting bad. If not he sold out on his team.

Yep. Shameful to see. Dalvin Cook didn't sit out and he's a beast declaring for the draft.

What if those offensive linemen decided to sit out to protect their draft stock?

Just pathetic and so selfish.

As a former ATC and now a PT, there's a lot you know. Etiology, pathology, presentation, etc. And there are even a bunch of tests that we can do to test for malingering....

That's where I was going.... I wouldn't know myself but I would think educated trainers wouldn't just be easily duped. Make up something like migraines over injuries

And sometimes we can tell just by who it is that has the injury. Some guys are just injured all the time....or at least fake one. Some guys you'll never see. If a guy like Peppers is in you training room then it's legit. By all accounts he is tough as nails, rarely injured, extremely high character, and a standout leader.

I wouldn't be surprised if most players who skip the bowls in the future claim fake injuries to take bad publicity off of them not playing.

Didn't get the impression that the announcers believed him. Seemed to wonder why he was in the press box as opposed on the field.

They just showed on SVP's show a picture of Peppers crying after the game when talking about him not being able to play. If he was a Kardashian I'd say it could be fake tears, but I haven't seen a football player fake crying.

If he was playing hooky and the truant officer catches him they will probably----------
give him a few million dollar contract?

If it was a legitimate hamstring problem who knows? They can feel like you're being stabbed with a knife or you're just tight. Peppers is probably the only one that will ever know the truth.

Fair to say regardless, his absence from the gm cost the Wolverines the OB considering they only lost by one point.

He will have to live with that ....

That game was representative of what happens when your team needs it's star player. Florida State's showed up, and was the player of the game. Had a speech after the game about the thought of skipping the game never crossing his mind. Peppers on the other hand didn't show up, and his team lost because of it.

Good game. Not a fan of either, but Harbaugh gets on my nerves, so I was pretty happy that FSU pulled it out.

If I was a great player, I'd like to think I'd take the route that Cook did, but when you realize what's on the line, who knows. Kudos to the young man.

Good seeing Michigan lose. I like seeing these teams best players flaking out on the fanbase. Would NEVER happen at Kentucky.

Not just the fanbase but also the University that has basically made you who you are and paid for your education via scholarship.
Its really a slap in the face of both institution and fans and is an extremely selfish act that has probably been perpetuated by agents who are worse than lawyers by the way.

Poor QB play and virtually no running game didn't help their cause.

I thought that was pretty revealing by UM. Harbaugh is suppose to be an offensive and qb guru and they were basically no shows against FSU until they lost a couple starters in their secondary. \

From a selfish standpoint, we will always have to out recruit FSU for south Ga kids, Michigan maybe head to head with them 1 time every 5-6 years for a kid so them getting beat on National TV served me well, we don't need to be going head to head with them for 5-6 of the top kids in Georgia every year with all the schools neighboring us and are in fact closer to a kids hometown that UGA is.

Yeah Grumpy, the lack of production by UM's QB this year was surprising. They lost 3 of their last 4, all be it by 5 points total, but those games could've been won with even a serviceable QB. If JH intends to compete on the national stage, and I'm sure he does, he needs to step it up with developing his QBs.
