This is a trusted account. But, as he admits, it's all speculation to the extent of the injury.

Neck was forcibly extended leading to concern of a neck fracture or spinal cord injury, but it’s hard to truly know in these situations.

Spending the night at the hospital could simply be to monitor sensory and motor function to ensure nothing is missed.

Here is a different angle of the tackle.

Just now watched a YouTube vid by a sports medicine guy doing an educated guess that his head was up enough that the spine was in a curved position allowing it to absorb part of the impact, and that he was unconscious due to a concussion vs. being paralyzed due to a spinal injury. Still plenty serious, hoping for the best.
Man I hope that’s correct.

Is this REALLY the thread to be highlighting his earnings? Nobody cares about crap like that right now.....

Is this REALLY the thread to show how easily outraged you get about EVERYTHING?

Jack's contract was brought up in the Chicago Tribune article that I linked. I then simply put some numbers to that contract that runs thru 2030. Now, be sure to call them up, too, and demand a reprimand of the journalist who brought Jack's contract up. It will take you a quick google search to get the sports department number.

Meanwhile, my sincerest apologies for the outrage that this has caused you (sarcasm). You sure get outraged a lot, mostly over the simplest of things.

Again, here's the link to the Chicago Tribune story, where you can get the journalist's info, where you can then call up the Chicago Tribune and express your outrage.

Let us know what happens!

What we do know, from the Chicago Tribune:

The Detroit Lions say Jack Campbell was staying overnight at a hospital for continued evaluation and monitoring of a neck injury.

Campbell was alert and breathing when he was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Jack Campbell was face down on the turf and was not moving after hitting tight end T.J. Hockenson for his third tackle of the game. He was evaluated by medical personnel before being strapped to a board and carefully lifted onto a cart to a round of applause.

The Lions signed Campbell last May to a four-year contract extension that runs through the 2030 season.

Beat me to the punch. Last thing anyone cares about, just his health.

Another outraged poster. Good grief. The last thing anyone cares about is your so called "outrage."

Talk about showing "their outrage" when getting called out. Here's the point since obviously you missed it as you scampered about needing to post 40 links. Yes its a link from some source. You already posted numerous links with pertinent info on him BEING INJURED". Great, appreciated the info that people wanted to know about. NO ONE here or anywhere gives a flying F what his contract is right now. Yet there was another link , so you had to post that one also. That's not a "simple thing". Its unnecessary, and frankly in really bad taste to even post THAT link.....And yes, I know yo're going to rebut my post about 20 times. Save it. Don't care.......

WTF.

Legend12 gets very few things right but what he said about what's going on inside your head? Well, all one has to do is read the mess you posted above.

I hope you are able to find the Tribune's number so you can call them in the morning. If not, let us know so we can get it for you.

I am sure you will reply with more nonsense. Prove me wrong.

Of course not. Its just another opportunity to regale us with all these links and stories, regardless if they're not appropriate.

I know you are an idiot, but again:

* I posted an update on Jack's health from the Chicago Tribune.

* That article listed that Jack was under contract until 2030. I then posted numbers related to that.

Take your fake outrage somewhere else and go see a shrink & get medicated.

Here's that Chicago Tribune story, where you can get the journalist's info, where you can then call up the Chicago Tribune and express your outrage.

Will you ever get off your narcissistic high horse, and admit that you're NOT always right?

LOL

The irony.

And you proved me right, to no one's surprise.

Again, take your fake outrage somewhere else. You are bringing nothing but negativity to this thread, which is something you love to do with most threads. It's pathetic. Be better. Or, at least freakin' try.

Oh look. Another thread jack from the most annoying poster on this board which is saying a lot.
Yeah the resident attention ***** found a way to make a terrible injury to a former Hawk all about him. As predictable as the sunrise.

Oh, look, 2 more dumb as.s resident attention who.res hijacking the thread & bringing MORE negative energy to this horrible story. Thoroughly disgusting, but totally predictable.

Hopefully you two and the other 2 jack as.ses who posted above knock this shi.t off, but I am not holding my breath.

Meanwhile, I am hoping for good news today.

Not sure why this comment was made. We were on the road all day yesterday and I had no idea of JC situation. Frans post was the first I saw of this. Not quite sure of the "hate" etc. I enjoy his comments and digging for stuff personally.
Maybe actually READ the context of WHY the comments were made before supporting. Just a thought.

I won't comment further on this with you. There's no need for it because as usual your so predictable how you'll flood this thread with your "its all about me" nonsense and everyone on her knows it.

*Here.

Legend12 is right; there really is something wrong with you.

And the irony about flooding a thread with nonsense. Good grief; everyone can see the nonsense that you are posting.

Just STFU for a change. Can you do that? Prove me wrong THIS TIME.

Totally disagree. Hey, I don’t gamble but place threads on lines because of curiosity. People criticize my posts because of too many daily updates-but that’s what I prefer to do-keep people updated. Don’t quite get why posters attack others on here. To each their own. We all want the Hawks to win, except the KF haters- whoops. This 78 year old likes these forums as most do. Just kick back and relax.

Will you be calling the Chicago Tribune in the morning to express your outrage?

Good grief.
I don’t read or care about Chicago tribune and just cause they threw it in as a last paragraph doesn’t mean that’s good journalism. Obviously you are expressing your outrage because you didn’t like how Iowa fans on an Iowa site thought posting a former Iowa players salary who just had a scary neck injury was insignificant in this thread.

you don’t need to go all eyesofahwak and beat a dead horse because people didn’t like your post that contributed nothing to a thread where people were looking for updates on jacks health.

Oh, great, one of the board's jack a.sses has returned, derailing this thread.

You are contributing NOTHING to this thread. You realize that, right, and you realize the irony of your post, right? Of course you don't. You are a dumb a.ss, how could you?

Just do us all a favor and STFU and allow this thread to get back on track. Are you capable of that? I doubt it, but prove me wrong.

post #32, in a thread about jack being carted off and neck immobilized, was the first you saw of this? Alrighty then.

Seriously dude take a chill pill. Honestly Fran been posting for some time I don’t expect people to agree with every one of my post, nature of the beast. It’s ok to agree that you disagree with someone without taking it or making it personal. I think it’s poor taste to throw his salary out, you don’t. Ok it is what it is, our opinions differ not the end of the world or reason to start calling people dumb @SS.

I’ve actually posted in many of your threads and agreed with you a lot and replied to many of your post. never thrown one personal jab at you or ever got into one pissing match when you are involved in your other spats or interject in. Especially with all the content you throw out because lot of times I appreciate it. But when you throw these petty insults at people cause you get blow back or differing opinion to one of your many post is pretty juvenile behavior.

End of day I like everyone coming in just hoping to read good news or updates on Jack’s health.
