If Farniok goes onto make it in the pros even as backup or practice squad, that is definitely a firable offense against Greg Austin, farniok always seemed like he was just there to get in the road of defense but never actually do anything as a lineman. I’m biased of course because I think lineman shouldn’t have long ***** boy hair too. Biggest pet peeve of our lineman over the years for me is the long hair and no mean streakFarniok made it with the Eagles and Stan with the Bengals. All present surprises.
You are right. Good catchFarniok is a Cowboy. No way would he fit into the Eagles OL room.
Yeah, it reminds me of those Beatles guys with all that hair everywhere. If Farniok goes onto make it in the pros even as backup or practice squad, that is definitely a firable offense against Greg Austin, farniok always seemed like he was just there to get in the road of defense but never actually do anything as a lineman. Lol. Guess we have a young crew here that doesn't get that reference.bro u need to chill out
For one, I don't think Farniok was near as bad as he was made out to be. He was never our worst Olineman as some people liked to proclaim. The other thing about Farniok is he always had a lot of upside, but he never came close to reaching his potential while he was here, just like every other lineman that's come through here recently. If Farniok goes onto make it in the pros even as backup or practice squad, that is definitely a firable offense against Greg Austin, farniok always seemed like he was just there to get in the road of defense but never actually do anything as a lineman. IDK. Was a big supporter of his the first few years in the league, but he just can't seem to latch on. The clock is ticking...Saw ameer was cut. Have to think he will find a landing spot
He's not all that effective. Can get production from younger guys.Saw ameer was cut. Have to think he will find a landing spot
pretty sure he got his pension. He's not all that effective. Can get production from younger guys.
Which is huge. If you can get that and leave the game without major injuries that's hugepretty sure he got his pension.
Yup. It’s around 46k/year. Not enough to retire on, but is a significant help.Which is huge. If you can get that and leave the game without major injuries that's huge
He could try to get right into coaching, young and still a name, latch on and make dick for a few years and then after 5 years or so make some nice cash coaching in college or the pros.Yup. It’s around 46k/year. Not enough to retire on, but is a significant help.
(Yes, I know the salaries prior to “retiring” should help with retirement if they were smart)

At 28? Or whatever he is.46k a year is not enough to retire on? I live in California and could easily live off of that...
I don't think they get the pension until a certain age, or am I wrong? At 28? Or whatever he is.
I could easily retire on that much, hands downYup. It’s around 46k/year. Not enough to retire on, but is a significant help.

must spend 5 full seasons on an active rosterI don't think they get the pension until a certain age, or am I wrong?
Agreed. I'm not down on him. He's a talented player and he's a hard worker. But his time is up or close to it. A second chapter of his life will probably be pretty awesome too.Which is huge. If you can get that and leave the game without major injuries that's huge
So once you get your 5 full years in, you start getting your pension, assuming you have retired from the league?must spend 5 full seasons on an active roster
age doesn't matter
that's for full pensionSo once you get your 5 full years in, you start getting your pension, assuming you have retired from the league?
Unless it changed I don't think they can start collecting until 55. I guess they can always go to JG Wentworth, "It's my money and I want it now!"So once you get your 5 full years in, you start getting your pension, assuming you have retired from the league?
