maybe it was discussed elsewhere, but Jack didn’t see the floor. How hurt is he? He could be needed at some point in this tourney.

He was ruled out of yesterday's game on Thursday with a hamstring injury. What I was more concerned with was why AOC didn't see the floor until scrub time.

Yep pretty much what was said above..K is clearly going defensively with Goldwire..if you watch AOC closely he is often out of position defensively and I think K feels we will eventually score enough with Zion and Barrett and others..

I think Goldwire has simply asserted himself, especially defensively since the Louisville comeback. Coach likes his toughness, strength and defensive tenacity. His D against Buddy Boeheim and Cam Johnson in the ACC Tourney were exemplary. He also handles the ball in a steady fashion, and has a decent teardrop driving shot. Heartening to see him drain a 3 last nite vs NDSU in a critical situation 1st half to give us a little separation at 6 points.

Goldwire continues to impress. Even if Tre leaves we will still have backcourt experience next year with Jordan and Alex. I expect Jack to recover tomm. and be ready for next weekend. With Bolden back not sure we need Jack on Sunday.

Great post. I’ve always like JGold. If you look at his build and him in some of those preseason training montages, you can tell he’s a dog in the gym. Works his tail off. Excited for this kid going forward this season and next.

Took the words out of my mouth.

I’d rather see JG in the game instead of Jack. That might be an unpopular opinion but he’s more creative offensively + better D, IMO.

Really nice to have that second quick guard to lock down the perimeter. Tre and Jordan really allow Zion and Cam to hunt steals and really demoralize the other team with steals leading to vicious dunks.
