What grade was the Hayesville JV QB Gillis in? He is a special athlete, he will be able to keep Hayesville in a few games by himself in a few years if he has a good WR or 2 to throw to.
I do like the new offense the Jackets implemented. Be prepared though for a great young QB with good receivers. The QB also plays defense and he will hit. Should be a great game

Even though they have a lot of injuries they still have good athletes left. Their linebackers are big and strong and they are trying to utilize Cox's speed on sweeps. Cherokee has good skill players and a strong line. I would like to see more running out of them though.
Yeah, yeah, I hope we get you in the 1st round of the playoffs! You'll need the meds!! Your line will look like a bunch of Mexican jumping beans hopping offside so much. We gonna switch up the cadence!! We can march down the field and never snap the ball.
You'd have to win by scoring safeties. Murphy's D knew where the line of scrimmage was (and they clogged it up pretty well); it's their O that has hyperactivity problems.
I was looking over Cherokee's roster and they have more seniors than I realized, more than Murphy.
The Braves have a big group of talented sophomores and freshman like I thought, but not very many juniors. Cherokee should be good next year but really good in 2017.

The roster is full of seniors but very few play. Maybe Sam will be close on this prediction as he was on the 50-0 rville game. I for one am looking for this game to hopefully be a spring board into the playoffs ... At some point the Braves have got to put it all together.
Don't know that I want to get a basketball discussion with them. Probably gonna be some a$$ kickin of major proportions !!
Cherokee was clicking last night they will be better in years to come with their young talent. Hayesville hasn't clicked for a while now on either side of ball. I am proud of the kids they played til the very end. Congrats cherokee and good luck the rest of the way. Oh yeah and that was some of the worst officiating I have seen all year, some of them need to find a different choice of a supplemental income cause they are awful.
Thought the Jackets had some good things going on offense last night. And by offense I mean #20. Braves had some trouble stopping the toss sweep early and then defending him on the inside slant in the second half. That swiss cheese defense that Hayesville had out there was.... well I'll just leave it at that. Hats off to Cherokee though they are a talented team and will be a force to be reckoned with over the next couple of years. Hope the player from Cherokee that got took off in the ambulance is ok and has a speedy recovery! Good luck to both teams in the Playoffs!
