Gets away with more hooks than any player I have ever seen. He does it every time he makes a spin move. He would foul out in 4 minutes if the refs would call it a foul like they are supposed to.

Not going to disagree with that, but I'm rooting for the tar holes to lose and I must say its a good feeling to know that you're going to get the call when you need it.

Huckleberry hound is brain dead - i would be fouling the crap out of Okafor down the stretch - can't hit free throws to save his life.

He is a winnner. He has a winner's mentality. He has a winner's mentality because he is a winner. He is a winner because he has a winner's mentality. Did I tell you that he is a winner?

Did Okafor collect even 1 foul? I never saw him get called for a foul and I never saw him in a situation where he did foul anyone.
I honestly don't know how duke hides him on defense and gets away with it. If he gets into foul trouble your odds of beating duke go sky high but I have yet to see anyone take the ball into the paint and make him foul. UNC just likes to take bad jump shots, we know that, they don't have a decent enough pg so that doesn't help but I haven't seen anyone else in the vaunted ACC do it either.
I watch JO on defense and he plays very carefully, just tries not to make contact with anyone. That should not be able to fly.
I would have to believe UK would feed the post over and over again and make him play defense.

He had a grand total of 1 foul in the 2 games with UNC. Amazing how that happens. I truly hope we play Duke at some point.

The only reason he is getting so much hype is because he is playing for duke. No way he is better than Towns. In a few weeks I hope we find out.

Coming out of H.S. Okafor was absolutely better than Towns.

Towns has made drastic improvement over the course of this season!

Okafor is very good. No doubt about that. He has an NBA ready body. The good, he is a monster close to the goal. Good footwork. The bad, outside of 10 ft, he's somewhat limited. His FT shooting is bad.

If we play dUKe Towns will have 2 fouls within the first 4 minutes of the game and Okafor will foul out 2 or three of our bigs without ever being in foul trouble himself. You know as sure as I am typing this the men in black will make sure of that---indy

My post wasn't meant as a slight towards J.O., it was more of a slight towards the teams duke has played. Particularly UNC**. I guess I just don't get it, UK has had all of their bigs in foul trouble in the same game a few times this year but more times than not we have at least 1 or 2 bigs in foul trouble. But nobody in the ACC has figured out how to get J.O. in foul trouble??? Roy is not a very good coach, we all know this but even Mark Gottfried knows you have to try to get J.O. in foul trouble.
Okafor, in my opinion, is the most polished big man I have ever seen in the college game on offense. He is a nightmare to defend and I think he trumps KAT in that department. KAT is the better all around player but do NBA guys care about defense that much?

Jahlil Okafor's hook is ruining college basketball. He uses it 90% of the time and it is NEVER called.
