I totally agree.People forget he was a 17 and 7 guy as a rookie (albeit for a really bad team). Even though he is sort of out of place in today's NBA from a stylistic standpoint, he is not a cupboard that is bare or anything. There are some things he can do to help a team if he develops even a little more defensively. Hopefully he can make the most of this chance.
He also won’t be playing a whole lot with Davis.I’m not sure this is the ideal situation for Okafor. The Pelicans were better without Cousin because Davis played center.
Granted Davis does have an injury history so may he gets a good amount of time.
