I still can't believe what I am reading here. You guys know Noah was a 3 star right? He was orders of magnitude better than this kid coming out of HS. You all saw what Noah did. Perry was a 4 star. Again.

I can't believe you guys, it's hard to take you as serious UK fans.

Gotta trust in Pope to get this done

If you can get him for cheaper than an equivalent player with a hometown discount, there's no reason not to add him for (deep) depth and a practice body. Redshirt him year one and let the coaches get a feel for if he could be a contributor.
Lmao, he’s not coming for a discount, especially not with the coach we have.

LMAO the fact that people are considering this a realistic possibility says all that needs to be said about the state of the program. Just... W O W
This ^. Pope has one more year as our coach. Max. I love the Feldhaus family but he would never contribute before Pope is gone and then he’d be in a huge turmoil. For the kids sake I hope he doesn’t consider UK.

You can’t analyze one player in isolation. Feldhaus as our 12th man is one thing; as the 6th man something entirely different.

I believe the best strategy is to lock down your studs before rounding out the depth pieces. The studs will define how the bench should look. And importantly, how much $ you have left after the studs determines how much to spend on the bench. If you have 4 million for 6 bench spots but you only got guys worth 2 million, you screwed up.

So let him be a 10th spot/practice player. I just watched nearly an entire season of things less interesting than seeing what Deron Feldhaus's son might turn into.

He's a zero star recruit.

So... cheaper than an equivalent player = cheaper than free.

He brings more to the table right now than Noah or Williams. People are too caught up in the stars beside a players name....how has that worked out recently.
You're out of your mind if you think he brings more to the floor right now than Kam Williams. Kam is the same size, better shooter, more athletic, and was AAC All-Freshman team.

Why add another noah, Perry type player?
Got to have guys that can play
Save the $ for them

Noah and Perry both had P5 offers. I don't mind giving a Kentucky boy a scholarship, but this isn't going to be a pickup that lets us win a national title next year.. Congratulations kid. This could be a life changing offer with future career choices.

Noah was a three star, but if you have open scholarships and can't add a four or five star, might as well let a Kentucky kid play here.

No thanks. He isn't a needle mover. Pope needs to land difference makers now. His job counts on it.
We have the scholarship spots.

I get being frustrated, but fans want a tight rotation of 8 guys and then lose it when we consider bringing in a dude to ride the pine. This dude doesn't move the needle because he isn't supposed to and doesn't have to.
