these college kids have virtually the key to the town. the world is theirs. when they mess up we should call them out. Jalen Johnson is a loser. these player are getting harder and harder to root for. tired of recruiting soft bluechipper stars with one eye on the NBA. bring back the kids who hate to lose and throw the rankings out nowadays becuase how can you explain chumps jack Salt and Jay Huff who no one wanted yet developed into functional players on winning teams while our mickey all stars Jav and marques can hardly cross the court with out either falling on the floor or commiting a stupid foul????

It's just my opinion. You can disagree without using words like ridiculous and nonsense.
Huff looked pretty awesome versus FSU. Salt was a hatchet man. Played sparingly in their title run.
You know the way we fans look at what's going on inside the Duke program and what the players and coaches actually see and experience inside the Duke program more than likely are different. More than likely Jalen will not say a negative thing about the program and his team mates and coaches will not say anything negative about him. Can't say the same thing about we fans. Oh we think we know what's going on but we don't and that's it. They do however need us and of course we need them simply because we are fans. OFC
He made it look effortless. I'm sorry but if he doesn't get hurt against UNC, we would've won the natty. No other team belonged on the same court when we were whole. That injury just ruined our rhythm at the worst possible time.
I don’t think Christophero’s point is “stupid”, much less “ridiculously stupid”. I find myself going back and forth on this issue all the time. Yes, seeing someone like Zion play for your team is pretty awesome, and I agree that the 2019 team would have won it all had he not gone down for an extended time. Same as I felt when Kyrie went down in 2011. And a great freshmen-dominated team (with key veteran leadership by guys like Quinn and Amile) won it all in 2015. On the other hand, no one can dispute that our young teams have also been unable to play the kind of defense that was the Duke hallmark for so many years, struggle offensively against tough defensive teams and have had some early burnouts to low-ranked but veteran teams, attributable primarily to their youth (and I am well aware of Virginia’s ignominious exit in 2018 courtesy of UMBC I think they vindicated themselves the next - what should have been our - year) Bottom line, it’s a legitimate debate, and while it gets lots of - some say too much - airtime on this board, there are too many people arguing each way for you or anyone else to label the opposing view as ridiculously stupid. I don’t get the impression that the people on this board fall into that category.
Thanks. I'm not saying not to go after talented guys. But certain guys that are clearly one and done can disrupt chemistry. Look at us this year and UNC last year.

Yeah hopefully we beat the Cheats at "The Hole." Anthony really did disrupt their chemistry last year, real prima donna....Good point... OFC
