We need a GM. 22 million on a roster like this. Is a gross mismanagement of NIL funds.

He would be the perfect fit it feels like. Him and Pope are both very smart, very competitive and love UK.

I always loved Jamarl's playstyle. Dude was a beast.
Heard that and thought he was basically begging for an interview. Loved that guy! Would love to have him back at Kentucky.
The fact that Wojo's poor acting job had the commentators talking like they were ready to burn Jamaal at the stake still pisses me off to this day. Little faking commode floater. Par for the course for Coach K's **** house rats.
Bring JM on board. We desperately need someone and I think it'll improve every facet of the program overnight.

Met Jamaal before a game when I was a kid. He probably talked with us for 20 minutes about the team. We tried to let him go so we
wouldn't bother him, but he just kept talking to us. Really nice guy.

We need a GM. We need a GM with NBA front office experience. Bonus if it’s a former team player. Extra bonus if it is a former player that almost broke a floor slapper like Wojo.

I am on board for anything to do with Magloire. He was one of my favorites back in the day.

I feel confident recruits aren’t gonna tell Magloire “no.” It’d be like getting asked if you’d like to move to another table at a diner by the Mafia.
He currently works in the Toronto front office in corporate/community relations AND works with their big men on the basketball side.

He’s worked in the front office for the Raptors for over a decade. He isn’t a GM
but should be very familiar with the structure of a pro franchise.

That’s the same reasoning that led to UL hiring Kenny Payne, IU hiring Mike Woodson, Michigan hiring Juwan Howard, Georgetown hiring Patrick Ewing, St. John’s hiring Chris Mullin, UNC hiring Matt Doherty, Houston hiring Clyde Drexler, etc. It usually ends very badly when schools try that.
Would Magloire be considered the right man to be GM if he’d never worn a UK uniform? That’s the first question that should be asked whenever a former player is a candidate for a job here.

It makes me feel better he has some legit experience in this space working with the Raptors. But again, this is not a position to take lightly and just hand over to a past player.
Just because someone played here doesn't mean they are the most qualified. Get the absolute best person for the job possible.
I’d love to see Cal or Pitino in this roll. Maybe even a old and new school player as well. Give me Boogie and Rondo.
