Big time. But this kid seems more like a replacement for Payton, than an immediate impact type kid.
It’s hard to know who can come in an make an immediate impact..he got himself up to 240+ in a half a year. Also will have a full year in weight room before fall. COULD be ready but who knows. It is a position of need for sure

While having an immediate impact guy would be nice, with all the Sr.'s coming back, he could help with depth and potentially make an impact in '22. A fan can dream.

Had offers from Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma, etc. out of high school, but didn't play in a single game for a 2-7 Baylor team that had a very young defense?

Something seems off about that.

He was an early enrollee. I can’t find any info about injury, but seems like there was either injury or something else (maybe red flag).

Here’s what was written about him as an early enrollee:
“The highest-rated recruit of Baylor’s 2020 class, the four-star defensive end joins the Bears from Newton High School. Sylvester is the 13th-ranked defensive end in the nation’s 2020 class, according to 247Sports. His 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame alone gives him the potential to be a star up front. Defensive end is a position where Baylor could use some help, meaning Sylvester could play a prominent role in his freshman year.”
