wow only Jan 3 and 11 wins

Did I see that right that that is the earliest conference win since Georgetown in 1998?

I thought I saw a stat on BTN after the game about conference wins in 1998

Maybe on the road? But when has RU beaten Georgetown on the road?

Seemed like we would always lose our conference opener, whether being sent to the Carrier Dome or losing a really dumb game like USF, also on the road, so that doesn't surprise me. But my question is: when was the last time we were over .500 in conference? Did we do it last year or are we going all the way back to 1998 or so? Maybe that was it?

edit: checked and we beat Temple to start our lone AAC campaign but that's kinda weak. Looks like we started 2-1 the year before that, 2013. Wow, that team collapsed, Rice really lost them. What a mess.
