My hopes, not necessarily in order of need are:
1. 4 man DL as the base. Keeping the double teams off of Mesidor. Getting more pressure on the QB. Winning the B12 starts with guys with their hands in the dirt.
2. Run game that can attack the edge along with getting 2 yds on 3rd and 2. Leddie can hit the hole but is limited outside. We have to spread it out on the ground or Doege is a target every down.
3. LB's...... Do we have more than 2 or 3 capable of filling a 2 deep every week? If we have a weakness on the D it's the second level. Some of the S's need to move down and fill those roles but most will be overmatched.
4. WR's that can catch the ball. Just catch the damn ball. If you can't catch it when you're open, how the hell will you catch it in traffic. It's not always Doege's fault.
