All I know is with everything that has happened recently, the staff better be going all out to get Pierre
Do more harm lying,, then you get that reputation for rest of your career..
From the videos I've watched, I also really like Pierre at PG...his size/strength, athleticism, shooting. Looks like he could be a stud PG.
Other teams are figuring it out.
Seems like every guy Auburn and Alabama have coming off the bench, is a starting caliber guy. Surely we can do that too.

Pope and staff need to promise the world to Pierre and Hall, if Hall is still even an option. Pope needs to promise Pierre a starting job and as much playing time as he could handle without being drained. He is one of those dudes that you GOT to do this with. These type of kids will not go anywhere without these basic requirements. I'm all for having a deep team, but you also have to have high-level starters, you got to. This kid looks the part as a game-changing, high octane scorer we desperately lacked a majority of last season. Pierre is certainly a dog!
I think it is one or the other with those 2. Neither a C, PF or PG. We've already added Kam (SF). We need to add 4-5 guys (PG, SG/SF who makes >40% from 3, PF, C, PF). Unless Oweh leaves, then yeah, we have 2 Wing spots open.
One of the planes they use is from a pilot in Georgia. Not sure where he lives, but have known that for a while

SF: Hall, Williams, Noah
PF: Folgueiras, Hall (in small ball lineup as he's 6'7 235 lbs)

If I were Pope, I would tell Pierre, we think you are a starter and we plan to substitute you out enough to give you some rest.
Facts! Pierre is the best scorer in all of college basketball and might be the best player to enter the portal.

Nobody can say Pope isn't putting in the effort. He is flying out to have dinner with these guys as soon as he hangs uo the phone with them. That's some crazy effort right there.

It’s a non west coast pg so we have a chance yeah? UF likely to be in touch with him I’d imagine being in state.

After that, we have some scholarships to fill, but we have to get two dudes in those spots.
If the 5 guys that can return do come back, with what we are adding from HS, we can get the job done.

I still feel like we add a starting Center, we were very close with Gwath already so we are looking it seems. Idk what that means for Garrison I just don’t think we go into the season with those 2. If we do get Yaxel that’s gonna push someone down as well. Seems when we start the season Garrison Noah and Perry are gonna be like 12-14 for minutes it’s a tough job glad I don’t have it.
If you had to pick between both Pierre/folgueiras or just lendenborg/krissa level point, which one would you pick?
I wish Pope would reach out to Peterson from ETSU. He would be a terrific pickup if we miss on Pierre.
I don’t think people are giving Garrison enough credit. He will improve in year two in Pope’s system.
No news today I guess Pope really is in a hold pattern. It’s been awful quite for the first day since the portal opened.
Hopefully we can land this kid!
