Jarran is a bad man. Kid was on a awful team but still threw for 2500 yards and 24 tds
Totally forgot about Wood. That kid can be a really good QB too. Has a similar arm to Stephen Johnson but much better wheels and he's a winner.
This reminds me of how well off we thought we were when we loaded up on Newton/Mossokowski. lol.
I was at this game. I kept saying this dude was a beast and didn't know his name. Cannon for an arm, fearless and athletic. He may need to sharpen up on in the mid range passes but he is a competitor. I am damn glad he will be at UK

Get the Joker effect off your brain and it will help. Go back and watch Newton from HS through UK. Newton was pretty good a s Freshman winning several big games but went down hill under Joker and Sanders. Moss was a head case. Not every QB is going to be a player. Get in the now.
I'm a lot more worried about keeping Gran and Hinshaw than any recruit.
Barker can only get a 6th year with a second Med RS given he took a non-Med one in 2014. Here's hoping he doesn't get a 6th year.
I think Gran stays, he's a little older..may be a career assistant. Hinshaw's the one who'll likely get a HC job within 3 years.
I would be quite depressed if UK lost two very, very promising early commitment QBs to 'bigger' programs in a period of a few months.
I know the rumor was that Hinshaw told him not to commit if he wasn't sure. Our teams improvement and lack of QB stability has to be factor in his decision. Kids a player, would love to see him in blue.
UK has also offered his cousin, DJ Turner, a sophomore corner from North Gwinnett. He would be a good get also.
I don't see them going anywhere for a while besides the defense is what has turned around not the offense so much, the offense is pretty loaded vs the defense.
