If he does, it’s with a washable marker. Love the kid but he has miles to go.
Maybe in 2 or 3 years. Right now he's got weak and erratic written all over him.
All, Jasper needs is playing time and the Aberdeen leash from Pope. The rest will come in due time. Johnson, Moreno & JQ have the greatest upside.

He’s gonna be really good, he needs a year or two, a lot of strength. He can really help us though. I wanna see this in real games from now on too.
Atleast Noah knows what he is and doesn’t think he’s alot better than what he actually is.
Has to get better on D and quicker with the first step. Needs improvement on finishing at the rim through the defender as well. Tons of upside and potential though if he can continue to grow as a player.
Tonight's opponent doesn't prove anything, but I definitely see promise.
Tons of potential and we should've been getting him more PT.
All transparency Jasper Johnson is my nephew, he's young and got a lot of potential. We're proud of him, he's a good kid.

He needs to be a more willing passer. The guy CAN score, but he needs to realize when kicking to a better shot is preferred to forcing something in the lane.
That said, I do think he has some upside if he gets stronger.
I think he is going to be good too but he needs to stop trying to be an Alpha on the court. He needs to be a supporting player right now
If he gets hot, he can go off for 40. That alone is reason enough to give him some minutes.
A few games back, he looked really good getting into the paint and dishing to a big for an easy dunk, but it just seems like he cares more about scoring than getting assists and he’s not ready to budge on that.

Work on his body in off season and be willing to accept contact on drives vs shying away from it now. I’d like to see be more decisive and explosive soon as he touches the ball and do more driving vs shooting so many 3s. Hes got a scorers game so hopefully it translates to making others better around him, excited for his future.
He's definitely got pro potential. Working on his body is imperative.
He’s got a lot of talent. Just needs better shot selection but he shows why he needs a lot of minutes.
He was the player I was most excited about that we signed this year.

Yep . I think JJ should play 30 minutes a game as should OO and Aberdeen and CC and Diabonte when healthy . Until then quality big guys will continue to eat us alive like Ike did right in front of me in Nashville . Need to stop this church league substitution pattern . Need to get chemistry with the best players in our team playing together .
One of the problems with todays players is all the outside pressure to "be the man now" mentality that exists.
I watched this kid and yes, he makes mistakes but that is how you learn. John Wooden said mistakes were stepping stones to success.
I hope the kid sticks around, learns more about the game and let his talents grow. I see a young Jack Givens and it took him four years.
Let him grow at his pace. He will be a stud when his time arrives, I truly believe that.
And "look at me, look at me!". Kid has a lot of upside, but he needs to stop trying to be G-League showboat all the time.
There is 1 NBA player on this team playing- Moreno. If anyone sees something else it is tinted.
Yea, I have to say, while I realize he had a good game, he plays very selfishly, he's not a very good PG and I wanted to scream when he did the side step NBA style 3 point shot with a defender on him. He may be a pro one day, but he is a long way away from being that currently
They are two different style players so that is not a fair comparison, and I am not sure that is true regardless. Moreno is 18, 7 feet tall who can already run well, block shots and make the shots he is supposed to and willingly plays defense. He has a very bright future. He if develops a jumper of any kind, I would say at this point he may have a brighter future. The NBA is full of 6'5 guards who cant play point and aren't great defenders
