Willie said today on Basch that it's a done deal. He didnt say what weight. Would he replace vega at 141? Or go 133?
i feel like Jax is headed to 141.... next year they will have Jayden Raney @ 133, Jax 141 and Jordy Raney at 149.... that will be tough!Willie said today on Basch that it's a done deal. He didnt say what weight. Would he replace vega at 141? Or go 133?
Donāt forget Vega. Kid will factor in somewherei feel like Jax is headed to 141.... next year they will have Jayden Raney @ 133, Jax 141 and Jordy Raney at 149.... that will be tough!
Exactly.... and with DUKE moving up next year... the combo of Kasak, Duke, and Mitch may be 3 undefeated wrestlers in a row.Iām totally in favor of them burning a year of his eligibility when they donāt have a title shot.
I know @LemonPie agrees with me.
Meanwhile, Cael is holding back on unleashing a monster in Ono to account for Hainesās points graduating.

Minneapolis ā28 is going to be an insane ticket. Hell, St Louis might be nearly as good because Okie St. is clearly ahead of schedule.I will tell you this, next year (26/27) we lose Levi and gain Ono. We will be a terror once again.
However (27/28)? It's on, and anyone who doesn't think so is smoking something.
Oky State is loaded with elite top 4 or above guys, in particular:
Vega
Jax
Robideau
Lockett
Ross (maybe)
I am not sure I would put the Raneys, and Merrill quite at at that level. AA probably!
I think I'll leave 184 off the list. I have leaned my lesson.
If we're talking the 2025-26 season, gotta believe Jax would go at 133, where Figueroa has lost a couple matches early on. Doesn't make much sense to rush Forrest onto the roster only to slot in at 141 to replace Vega, who has looked the part so far.Willie said today on Basch that it's a done deal. He didnt say what weight. Would he replace vega at 141? Or go 133?
This weekend should have disabused him of those notions.maybe DT believes that Ryder and Merrill might have the potential to be finalists as well or at least high AAs.
Vega is legit and Lockett is only going to get better 65 was clearly Mitch #1 and Caliendo a distant #2 but the clear #2. I dont think Lockett will challenge mitch but the race for #2 is on! I am not as sold on Robideau yet... but still this is a legit roster and ahead of schedule!I will tell you this, next year (26/27) we lose Levi and gain Ono. We will be a terror once again.

its way early and its not like Ryder was blown out. He was in some close matches with some national contenders right out the gate! Ryder will continue to get better... and i would still not be shocked if he found a way to AA this season! This weekend should have disabused him of those notions.
We've known for a while that it was a possibility or probability.@vhsalum1 can you believe this is actually breaking newseveryone must live under a rock
Iowa fans are the same as we know. Was telling a few this weekend that the reason people hate on Iowa isn't because Tom and Terry it's because the way the fans act and that started way back. And now people are just starting to dislike Penn St fans for those same reasons. Iowa fans think wrestling revolves around Iowa City and now it's happening with Penn st.Darn PSU fans. If it didn't happen in Happy Valley, it didn't happen.
I put it on Oklahoma st boards long ago and it was immediately deleted. Then we were finally allowed to discuss it after a few days. Go look around it's there. I don't do podcasts anymore or have social media I just use forums . If I really cared about getting credit for it I would still be on social media but I don't care like that just letting my message board folks know it's old newsWe've known for a while that it was a possibility or probability.
Maybe you'd like to link the announcement that we all missed.

Definitely gonna need Bob to place the top bid on Rademacher!Way too early to tell with Ryder and Merrill, but I bet that DT has whatever roster holes filled by NCAAs in 2028, so whomever isn't cutting it will likely be replaced.
Kinda like, if you never wrestled for Iowa, you never wrestled for Iowa?Darn PSU fans. If it didn't happen in Happy Valley, it didn't happen.
I have been banging that 2028 is the year drum for a while. I think that year we would be replacing Ono, messenbrink, Van Ness. I'm actually very excited for that year. As much fun as it is watching Penn State dominate I would enjoy thoroughly a tight team race where Friday night at nationals has direct implications on the winner.I will tell you this, next year (26/27) we lose Levi and gain Ono. We will be a terror once again.

Have you looked at the number of titles PSU has won the last 14 years and notice how many world team members this year have an affiliation with PSU? Unlike Iowa of years past, right now wrestling does revolve around PSU. That's the ****** truth, like it or not.Iowa fans are the same as we know. Blaze has at least 2 wins against him. But, you know, Penn State recruits always have the gap narrowed against themSo: Forrest vs Blaze in the final. Who wins? Have they wrestled each other before?
Blaze beat Jax in the Clarion openSo: Forrest vs Blaze in the final. Who wins? Have they wrestled each other before?
Blaze/Jax might end up being Dake/Taylorish in terms of a style matchupBlaze beat Jax in the Clarion open
Just us real sickosAh, so it's our fault for not scanning 34 and Stalling.
I mean, who has the time to check various boards on the off chance of some long-running speculation being confirmed, that won't even take effect for another 2 months?
12 actually and yes I know that without looking. And this year Penn St had 15 of the 30 world team spots at u20, U23 and SR this year I believe. The point was it's the way the fans act that causes the nation to hate on a team not the staff or the results on the mat.Have you looked at the number of titles PSU has won the last 14 years and notice how many world team members this year have an affiliation with PSU?
