Unless the wrestle back brackets break just right and the Hawks get multiple matches against seeds 30 - 33 they might wrestle the entire tournament with less than a dozen takedowns.
What’s the o/u on Iowa takeouts for the tournament? Is 7.5 too generous?

Now, this is my kind of diet… salivating at the thought of the headlights.

I think Jax matches up really well with Drake, they like to get in similar positions and Jax is a better scrambler (also has more than just the slide-by). But I do think he will struggle with Blaze and Crookham, also Byrd's power should not be overlooked he can make anyone pay for small mistakes
I was right about Drake, we won't see the Crookham one this year, but I hope we can see him against Blaze and Byrd later this year. I am curious about the stylistic clash

If you’re Jax Forrest, how tempted are you to move to Stillwater for your senior year of high school? You have to figure he’ll be down there training up until Senior Worlds and taking Bishop McCort classes online. Is it easier to transfer to Stillwater High to finish?

Training in Johnstown with Bishop McCort, Young Guns, and the Compound is about as good a training situation as a high schooler can get, but it ain’t Stillwater, the Cowboy RTC, and Oklahoma State. Staying in PA for seven months rather than spending those seven months with Taylor, Fix, RBY, etc - how much will this delay his development? What are the chances he makes the move to Stillwater to train full-time with Cowboy RTC and is done with wrestling high schoolers?
