It's my first post because I just found these forums recently.

I did not realize that it was a paywall link. I read it on espn. I presume that since I get espn magazine I can automatically read it. So, sorry.

45. Northwestern Wildcats
Even without Vic Law, the Wildcats have a good team. At 8-1, with the only loss against North Carolina, Northwestern does not yet have a win over a top-100 team. Northwestern has a good backcourt in Bryant McIntosh and Tre Demps.

Anyway, the point is that even with the weak non-conference schedule, some are giving the team enough credibility to be mentioned among other likely tournament teams.
