You never know in a Final, but if Villanova wins, they will have won 2 titles in 3 seasons. And, had a #1 seed last year. Wright will be a lock for the HOF and what a great program he has built.
Gotta say that at that point, Jay Wright is the best coach in CBB by far right now. And, he's done it in a really effective and interesting way. Ignoring the one-and-done talent.
Go back and look at the top 100 recruiting lists the past 4 seasons. Duke completely dominates 'Nova every season. The "D" shows up far more often and far higher than the "V." 'Nova's recruits generally range from the high teens to the 80's or so. But, the difference is, they don't lose those recruits to the NBA after a year and they develop those players.
Four years ago, Duke had 4 players in the top 20 and won the title in 2015. Nova had Bridges at 82, and Booth at 92 (in ESPN's rankings). They've had 3 #1 seeds, two FFs, and they could have two titles after Monday night.
