The WNBA really needs to add a couple more franchises. Too much talent being wasted. I have been saying the last couple of years that The NBA to Louisville crowd needs to switch their focus to the WNBA to Louisville. This is a No Brainer to add revenue to the Yum Center when UofL is not using the arena in the spring and summer. I have read that Nashville is making a big push for a team and will most likely be added if their is expansion. Too bad our leadership in this city continues to be light years behind just about every neighboring major city and state.

10 OF THE 12 WNBA franchises averaged less than 3,000 a game in 2021. I think a WNBA Franchise in Louisville could easily average more than 3,000 a home game. The WNBA is hedging their bet currently on league expansion.

I wonder if we'll ever get a chance to prove the WNBA could draw a nice crowd here, though? And, if Louisville can't get a expansion squad, is there anyone in this town that has the bucks and interest to try and buy an existing franchise?

Maybe an exhibition game here would be a start.

I wish someone in the City who reads your posts would get the hint.

Between UofL and UK women's basketball fans, we’d average close 5000 easily.
