Interesting stuff. His last three tournaments;

Missed cut by a mile at the AT&T..

Wins at Riveria...

Starts 6 over today and will miss the cut barring a miracle round tomorrow.

It would be like missing the NCAA tournament, then winning the Title the next year, then missing the tournament the following year.

I would take that every three years if given the choice.

After his round today he might.

I love golf as much as anybody. I love to play and I love to watch. I find the game mesmerizing.

What’s interesting is that a player can miss every cut, but out of the blue wins a tournament.

Ted Potter Jr. has missed more cuts in his career than he’s made, but he’s won twice and spaced those wins out perfectly to were he’s kept being exempt.

Crazy stuff.
