JCA, PC, MC

Assuming a PC win on Friday, then all 3 of JCA, PC and MC miss the playoffs...does anyone know the last time these 3 all failed to make the playoffs in the same year...if ever??

Well over 30 state titles between them and they all miss?? WOW!!

I checked. Gooms is right.

In only two years (79 and 80) did two of those three schools fail to qualify for the playoffs in the same year.

What's even more amazing about this is that, back in the early years of the playoffs, you didn't have 5-4, 6-3 and 7-2 teams qualifying if they weren't conference champs.

When was the last time that JCA missed the playoffs? How about MC?

JCA was '98 or '99. MC was '85.

MC missed the playoffs Lenti's first 2 years in '84 and '85. They were 6-3 both years. Had to win conference to make it in. Last time they were under .500 was 1978.

So for JCA it has been 19 years and if MC loses it would have ended a 30 year run? Wow! Both great records!
