JCA appears talented with current sophs and loaded with current frosh. From a local will county CCL fan, Provi bias but still CCL fan. How is JCA looking for next season? Up until the coaching fiasco at Provi I felt Provi built for another run next year but we will see. I love the rivalry between the two programs so just curious.
Appreciate the info. I’d love to see tight close games and not blowouts. Both teams being good is great for the area. I’m hoping the coaching thing has settled. Was informed Provi had a larger than normal 8th grade open house. Will that translate time will tell. Again love the feedbackJCA appears talented with current sophs and loaded with current frosh.
current juniors have some high end talent but not sure how deep they are. PC current juniors definitely have the edge but it remains to be seen how many will return or even who will coach them.
if they can retain most of them, they will likely be more talented for next year. But JC seems to have been stacking classes the last two years and if the unrest at PC helps the recruitment of 8th graders this year, that could be a third straight very talented class.
next year they look to be ok. But should be a fun three plus years after that. Still need to fix the offense for sure
The offensive line should be vastly improved next season. If you block correctly, any play called will work.JCA appears talented with current sophs and loaded with current frosh.

I don’t believe the interior of the offensive line was a typical Joliet catholic group this year. Not the size they usually have and often struggled to get a push.WWS has some very young talent with 16 JR and So starting. Dominated tonight and I was not expecting that with JCA coming from such a tough conference. Big kids, strong interior players on JCA but skills positions need to improve
We are all hopeful for that. I don’t even know the names or ages of much of this years OL. I just know they appeared smaller than a usual JCA o line and there were way too many 3rd or 4th and shorts that were met with tackles for loss. I am hoping the frosh and sophs have some big bodies to help out next year. The offensive line should be vastly improved next season. If you block correctly, any play called will work.
Projecting and assuming IHSA rules stay the same...this puts JC back to 5A next year, which is good to see. If Provi makes it to this years championship, puts them in 6A next year. From a local will county CCL fan, Provi bias but still CCL fan. How is JCA looking for next season? Their defense and QB are outstanding.I thought WWS was 7A. They have a good team this year and played Batavia and Geneva tough.
Same with SF this year and that’s starting to look more likely.Projecting and assuming IHSA rules stay the same...this puts JC back to 5A next year, which is good to see. If Provi makes it to this years championship, puts them in 6A next year.
Seems the JC underclassmen have a good group coming up. Good experience for next year. Go HIll.
Sounds like they may be a 4A/5A bubble team next year.Projecting and assuming IHSA rules stay the same...this puts JC back to 5A next year, which is good to see. If Provi makes it to this years championship, puts them in 6A next year.

Dating back to the Alstott Era.38-0 late in the 4th
the Tigers are now 5-0 all time vs JCA which is pretty amazing considering how good JCA has been over the years.
