Your DSR stock thread is pinned to the top of the threads main page and is locked for further replies. So I thought I would pose my questions here:

"4***. All players will be give an initial purse of $3000.00 to spend buying IPOs (was 4k last year)"

If I entered and bought no stock, would I still have $3000 left at the end?

"5***. This year, you may purchase more than 20 shares of any team (last season unlimited).""

Did you forget the word "no" in front of the word "more"? Or did you forget the word "must" instead of the word "may"?

Bottom line question: Other than by the $3000 and share price, am I limited in the number of shares I can purchase of any one team?

"6***. Any monies not spent purchasing teams is gone. (last season was added ... too much work...)""

So I guess I can't just put the $3000 under my mattress and take my chances?

"8. You can sell a stock at any time and bank that money."

Wait. I thought you just said in #6 that any money not spent purchasing teams is gone. I'm confused.

"C. If you know you are in now, reply to this email so i can get ahead start on creating your sheet."

I'm in.

Per JChill that should read "You may purchase no more than 20 shares of any team". He does not have access right now and I had asked him the same thing. Not sure on the rest of your questions

Sorry Rambl - been a weird week.

With regard to:

4: If you enter and spend no money, as per rule 6, your plot depletes by default to zero. Last season, you could spend as much or as little as you wanted to up front. This season, I want as much action in play as possible. You are correct, no mattress money.

5: Yep, as USD pointed out, i forgot a word. Players cannot purchase more than 20 shares of any particular team.

8. After round 1 you can sell your shares in a team (all or none) and cash that money. Say after LA goes from 32 to 33 in value, and you have ten shares. you can cash the 330...and not fear LA losing/bankrupting.

Hope that helps.

It does help, thanks.

So, I must expend/invest all my money on the IPO before the playoffs begin. After round one, I can sell all those stocks that I own of round one winners and not reinvest (because you don't allow it) and you will maintain that balance for me for the remainder of the game. IF I sell, do I have to sell all of my stock in a particular team, or can I sell a whole number fraction of it and maintain ownership of a smaller number of shares? Not saying I want to do these things, but I'm just trying to find out what the extremes are.

great questions and am sure others are or will wonder the same.

unfortunately, it's sell all. The game would be better if i allowed you to sell some, admittedly, but it just makes things a lot more difficult for me to administer. Maybe next year i can allow for this and repurchasing of stocks if earned cash etc...just have to make sure all the formulas etc are safe and in place.
