he has to be happy with the progress & play the O line has shown this season under Schlarman, good coaching at his position

What are our chances of getting this recruit?

Wills hasn't committed yet, so our chances are not zero. But his sights seem to be on ranked programs. I don't expect Wills to sign in our class. Last year, Wills attended every Kentucky home game. This year, he has only attended 1 or 2. His coach says he likes Alabama. He recently took a visit to Michigan. I will say this much, though. If Wills wants to be a tackle in college, he needs to sign with Kentucky. Every other program he is considering will make a guard out of him.

He was at the Vandy game btw. You can see him in the background on the right.

I thought the rumor was that he recorded a video of his commitment to Alabama that was going to be released. And then it got pushed back. If he was still committed to Alabama I don't know why he would be holding on to that.

I don't think that necessarily is good news for UK. Wills is probably still more likely to head off to one of the big boy schools. At least it still gives us a shot though.

60% Bama
30% Michigan
5% UK
5% other

I really think UM made a killer impression when he was there a few wks ago and is gaining ground really fast.

Who knows? The so-called experts had him all but signed, sealed and delivered to Bama a few weeks ago but so far no commitment. I've even seen hints that Bama is moving on from him. As noted he recently visited Michigan and I guess has a few more OVs scheduled. UK seems to have a pretty long list of OL they're currently working thru. I guess as long as he's not committed UK still has a puncher's chance.

I thank he will go to Bama, but if Ky could get to 6 wins and a bowl, maybe the impossible could happen and he come to UK..

Damien Harris 2.0. Free tickets to football and basketball games.
I respectfully disagree. He's not pimping himself out the way DH was in his recruiting, so I can respect him for that at least.

As a courtesy and show of respect, I would imagine Wills will take an OV to UK and go to one of the big basketball games. I agree with just about everybody else that we are unlikely to get Wills, but he's not leading us on as I see it.

He may not be leading the UK coaches on, per se, but he is taking advantage of free tickets. Alabama will be his choice. The U.K. Staff has no choice but to try.

He ain't coming to UK, he left at halftime of the Vandy game. If he was truly interested and considering us, he would've stayed. The game was no thing of beauty, but it was a good game to watch if you have interest in that school.

UK is the closest to his house. If I was getting a free ticket for me and maybe a few friends to attend a game I'd go in a heart beat. Drinks and food are probably free for the recruits, especially a highly sought after 5*. HMM go to a free college game or stay home and play xbox? easy answer.

I would like to have Wills just like everyone would. BUT frankly, I will lose no sleep at this point if he goes elsewhere. Our Oline looks stronger right now then at any time in the past I can remember and seems to have a bright future.

With Stallings,Stenburg, Big Geoge, Jackson, and Young as underclassmen I see a very very good Oline. We get everyone back except for Toth next year and have the underclass men listed above that have higher ceilings then our juniors right now. Adding stud tackles would be nice, but many schools apparently see Wills as a Guard. I'd that's truly the case I think we'll be just fine without him. So if he doesnt want to be at your home school then so be it and there's the door. If prefer guys that truly want to be here.

as always, awesome job supporting the UK program guys. if the kid had 1% chance of considering UK this thread of y'all trashing him & his character will surely make the difference!

UK fans have had in the past, & likely will in the future, get exactly the program they deserve

He is an unofficial visitor for the Alabama game at UT but will take an OV for the Ky game at UT. But for the record, think UM and OSU have the edge per all recruiting experts and may be a backup plan if UA loses Ledbetter (#1 OT in country) to LSU.

Was told by someone who worked with his father that Wills won't go to Kentucky! Said he wants Jedrick to go to Alabama-1st, Notre Dame-2nd! Kentucky's chances-10%

Hard to believe Michigan is not in the mix. He just visited for the Badger game, reportedly. Harbaugh will be putting Olinemen into the NFL.

Wills looks special to me. I am not a trained observer, but he seems like a potential program changer.

agree, we are pretty desperate for tackles. I'm betting Tate Leavitt gets moved to guard in Spring.
