You kind of enlightened yourself when mentioned that UK was in the SEC. Power 5 vs. Midmajor. End of analysis as far as coaching jobs are concerned. Obviously, it doesn't mean that the Power 5 team wins a particular game against the Midmajor team.

Not to mention, $$$. As in, the SEC coach gets paid a lot of it. The C-USA, not so much. Well, it's much compared to my income, but I'm not a college coach.
Lol you beat me to it.

Uk is where coaches go to die. Which school has the better program right now? Uk just lost to a team WKU dusted last year in their conference title game and Uk had to drop WKU so they wouldn't take another beating from an instate school. So why go to Uk where you settle for mediocrity and have to schedule three gimmies every year to even have a sniff at a potential bowl when you can have success coaching a better team and get offered to coach at a power 5 school that can actually win. Other schools will throw him big $$$ and he can actually have some longevity coaching at a legitamite program.

I will say that I'm amazed that a ul fan can even type.

Maybe so Mojo but I think people like Couch will really be pushing for Brown.
Don't think so... I'm just guessing here , but I think couch probably has a lot of respect for BB and his abilities and would gladly welcome him to UK

Brohm can cash 4 million dollar checks, and 12 million dollar buyouts as good as anyone here at UK if can't do the job, but I believe he could win here.

Brohm's family may bleed red but every coach bleeds green in the end and a Power 5 job is a dream for every coach. Brohm is a very family oriented man and turned down other offers for a reason. My guess is he is waiting for either UK or UL to open up. He would be one of the first calls and hopefully his agent has already been contacted.

Anybody that thinks a SEC school, even lowly UK, isn't a step up from WKU is clueless. Would the coach at Southern Miss take the job here if offered? Your damn straight he would!! I'm not gonna get into all the reasons why a coach would but just the money factor alone would be reason enough.
You need to remember he is a tard fan which automatically qualifies him as an idiot.

And UL is where you go to screw whores and cheat on your spouse on restaurant tables.

Being in the P5 pretty much guarantees that UK will always have a better program than WKU. That's just the blunt truth. UK has better facilities, a much much bigger fan base and plenty of money to operate with. The only thing missing is the right coach that can improve the product on the field. And any "legitimate " coach should be able to manage to win 6 or 7 games a year here. Anyone that does that here will be paid handsomely without all the huge expectations that comes with coaching in the SEC. Rich Brooks could've stayed here as long as he wanted with the results he was producing.

He's doing a great job at WKU. UK needs a coach that can be creative and is actually organized. I doubt we could land Houstons coach but that would be my first stop. I like those two coaches.....any others that stand out? Maybe Appalachain States coach?

Jeff Brohm is a Cardinal, no way he has any interest in ruining his career by taking the UK Football job. He will have offers from way more attractively programs than UK Football.
