We have plenty of guys who can brick 3s in his absence.
He’s one of our better shooters. Field goal the same, but go 1-9 from 3, and missed a bunch of free throws. I think we have outrebounded them.
I really don’t know why so many people here still think he’s a shooter. Is it just stereotypes about Euro players? Hovered at or a little below 30% from 3 in Europe and hasn’t been any better here. He does some things well enough to have value as a backup big, but he’s not any kind of solution to our shooting issues.
His best games 11 points against Eastern Illinois and 10 vs NC Central. Nothing has impressed me about him or anyone on this team of $22 million scrubs.
At least jelly can make a short shot in the lane.
I would put him, MO and one of the bugs... And just hammer them down low.... Stop shooting threes.. Just go big... Jelly is good down low.
I don't think he's a great shooter but he's capable at least so it helps with spacing.
It was Kam's game for airballs. Jelavich can resume air balling next game.
Less than 50% from the floor and 22% from three. BG and Mo were playing pretty well. Jeli on the bench was okay.
