In all honesty, Jemele Hill is one of the biggest racists in the United States.

If a white woman spewed this nonstop hatred towards blacks, she would never be able to survive. But Hill gets away with because she’s black. This is how stupid things have become.

Oh stop it! You’re the biggest race baiter on these boards.

In Louisville they opened a school that's for black boys and just got approval for one for black girls. Everybody in the news is afraid to ask the "uh... isn't that segregation?" question.

Google the “seg academies” that popped up all over the south in response to Brown v Bd of Ed and which are still in full swing day. Something tells me that sort of “segregation” doesn’t trigger you white nationalist snowflakes. For a board that represents only the best of the best (six figure jobs, trophy wives, mortgage free homes etc) many of you have no understanding of history (and care even less obviously). Well done Wayne!

Sorry for not falling in line with the white nationalism that permeates the board. Apologies. I can’t believe the mods allow some of the barely hidden racism some of you guys spew here regularly. It’s become infested and sadly no longer just limited to the political forum where you all usually congregate.

Wouldn't doubt it... that dude is about as misguided as one can get.

I feel bad for them, those people are in for a world of hurt one day.. may not be today, may not tomorrow, but rest assured they will realize their folly one day.

Here's a little hint, if you have to create multiple user names to hide behind the embarrassment of shameful ideas, then there's something there you need to seriuosly reflect on and fix. Jamele Hill is a racist, so is KP and so are white nationalists... they are all deplorable... and misguided

I have no problem with what she said. I think it is funny that it was in the Atlantic. Yet you want me banned. The problem with you is anyone that disagrees with you gets labeled then banned. Lack of maturity in dealing with adversity. You cannot fathom others having differing opinions.

Lol... I am perfectly fine with them opening the schools I mentioned. But it makes me laugh that the same people who for years have been championing bussing kids all over the city in the sake of diversity are now saying segregated schools are the best way for black kids to learn.

And by the way, I have a mortgage. It’s an excellent tax break!

On an entirely different note, I'd hit it.

What’s your opinion of the segregated school thing? By the way, my kids go to public schools.

Good to know. You’re going to have to be more specific. My “opinion” on what “segregated school thing”? I’m sure that you know that AAs were (and still are by and large) traditionally underserved in the realm of public education. So I consider this a good thing. Many if not most inner city public schools are de facto segregated as it is thanks to white flight etc. They’re generally underfunded because of less available tax dollars. So anything like this (what you call a “segregated” school so you can score a cheap political point) that helps equalize educational opportunities is a win win for society as a whole in my book. What’s YOUR opinion on the “seg academies” still in operation all over the south today.?

If you can afford to get into one of those academies, you can. They’re not race based.

Using public money to separate based on race is called segregation.

How hard is this for you to understand?

You know good and well what the original purpose of those “academies” was. It was so white school kids didn’t have to go to school with “them.” And you also know good and damned well that 95-100% of their student bodies are white. Finally you surely also know that public schools in metropolitan areas are largely de facto segregated.

I saw the news cover it and I'm pretty interested in how it works out. The premise is to take kids from a disadvantaged background and teach them self respect and personal responsibility along with a serious education. I don't care about the race aspect because if it's successful, try it in eastern ky.

From what I read, if it is indeed the correct school, then it is actually open to any student in the district and not just AA kids. So good news Jumper Jack, your kids, if they live in the district, can attend if they wish

Here, encapsulated, is liberalism. “You know good and well” is not a fact. “De facto” is not law.

Seperating based on race using public money is segregation. That’s a fact. And you’re defending it!

If liberalism hadn't destroyed public education with the triumvirate of atheism, unions, and crumbling standards, maybe people wouldn’t have to flee the public systems.

Is it a school ran by the government and if so, you still have faith in these results?

It's not even liberalism as much as it is defeatism, people not wanting to accept accountability for their lives, easier to blame other people or society, and the democrat party simply exploits this to create division and votes.

So to that end they come up with pernicious lies like white prvilege and implicit bias to justify themselves and their racist unAmerican attitudes.

If I were the father to a black child, I'd do everything in my power to keep my child away from these corrupt incompetent people and their bad ideas.

That tweet is case in point, when you see everything through the lens of racism you can't help but come to distorted conclusions and wrong, ineffectual solutions to everything. Since everything bad is the fault of the evil white heterosexual male patriarchy, then you are justified in your racist beliefs to protect yourselves from them by segregating your own schools and your own leagues.

Black athletes at white schools... give me a break. [eyeroll]

Thankfully, black people with more integrity than Jemele are starting to realise this nonsense they are being fed and aren't taking the woke bait. Most of these guys aren't conservatives, they just aren't racists against them evil white men and actually have the best interests of their community, as opposed to themselves, at heart.

I'm curious if anyone in this thread even read the article.

Ofcourse I read it, and it's precisely what I thought it would be going in... pathetic neoMarxist drivel driven by today's popularized radical left pathological altruism.

Whoa SomeDude dem some big ole words you using to make everyone think you a smarty pants! NO, that's simply precisely what it is; same ole plays from the same ole playbook which does nothing but hurts the very same people it purports to save in the end.

Message to you is same as always, the loser mentality that Leo3011 supports and laments that this corner of the internet is not a safespace for is not one you want to have in life and gets you nowhere. And if my race prevents you from valueing that opinion, then know that at no point is it not fully congruent with someone of other races, yours included.

LMAO...What the hell are you talking about?

Also, the fact that you need to say some form of the bolded quote above is telling. You really do try way too hard without really saying anything.
