I have read on other boards comments that he might reclass in order to finish his rehab at Duke. IF that is true, that might help explain both Boogie's decision and not going after RJ hard in the last few months. Trying to read between the lines

Yes I guess so. It is just speculation. A red shirt year would finish the rehab and shake off the rust.
not a bad idea to get the best treatment and rehab available and a year start on college courses
Maybe Boogie was afraid Roach would be a better student than him.
It’s funny how these other fan bases talk up a recruit but as soon as Duke get him he’s actually not that good. I think we’re the only fans that don’t do that.
Good call, rightfully so though. Wasn't that great in college. Glad he didn't choose Duke because it kept the scholarship open for Bagley, who was worlds better.We kind of did that with Kevin Knox.

He's a great get but I wonder if we pursue a combo guard in case he isn't ready to be handed the keys right away. I say this only because of the injury; although he does have a year and a half.
Hope you are right. With Roach, Jordan, Alex and Joey that would make 9 players. Need two more bigs. Maybe a package deal will include Barnes. Hopefully he will see Carey have a big year and want to join the Brotherhood. If so he can play some PF.

Evan Daniels with a CB pick for Johnson to Duke. Roach may be getting "the come play with me" recruiting train going already.
Roach looks like a Tre Jones with a shot. I dont believe the on ball pressure is going to matter as much next year because we do not have Zion out there. He had like the second most steals as a freshman and all of the guys on that team last year were in the top ten. I hope he can recruit. We need help. Bj looks great as all Bjs do.
I’m stating the obvious here but man would it be huge to get Johnson plus the luxury of having two high profile players this early in the recruiting process.
Bad news BJ Boston has gotten picks to uk from Jerry Meyer and Andrew Slater. Kinda weird considering Boston and Johnson were seemingly locks for Duke in the 20 class. Hope things change in Duke’s favor again
Boston is not deciding until next year around April time frame as of right now. A long ways off. Lock up Johnson soon and go from there. Watch out for Cunningham. Dude is a straight beast and getting love from Duke. Another Montverde star.
