Surprised I haven't heard his name bandied about.
Not just for our job, but any.
Was considered the architect for most exclusive offense ever.
Parlayed that to coordinator with Carolina Panthers.
Fired for not turning Sam Darnold in to a star.
Is currently qb coach for Buffalo.

Never put that together. But I’d love Brady as OC. That LSU offense was best in college history to me and LSU fell back to earth quickly after his one year

I wouldn’t mind Joe Brady here. Granted much of that LSU success has to be due to the talent they had, but I’m willing to give him a shot. I don’t blame him for not being great in Carolina. I think the Panthers are one of the worst organizations in the league.

Would be nice but no way this happens, he already turned down Oregon for the same position as us. There is also the problem of if you want a coach here he’s going to want to be with Buffalo until the end of the season as they may win the Super Bowl. I’d say it’s safe to cross his name off the list.

The guy that told me has access to HOB and a few other premium services which is why I didn't report it here if it was classified on HOB
I think, if true, he would be at the top of the list.

He is given far more credit for LSU’s title run than their head coach received.

You heard wrong

Another guy who has zero interest in coaching in college. Has been asked by dozens of schools. Only NFL. Will get another NFL oc job soon.
Yeah, the big knock on him is that he doesn't want to recruit. We need everyone recruiting if we're going to be successful.

Mark Stoops could make that lsu offense seem good

Well maybe, but..that offense was absolutely loaded- could literally stay together and compete in the nfl in a few years.

The QB coach for Buffalo likely means the OC for Buffalo when Ken Dorsey goes elsewhere. No reason for him to leave for a college OC job.

How much "coaching" does Josh Allen need at this point? Unless he's just there to work with and develop their backups, I think he's expendable to Buffalo.

No I didn't hear wrong I heard correctly he specifically messaged me that Joe Brady applied for the UK OC, it just depends on where the dude saw it.

Depending on QB and O-line, we have similar skill position talent to what Joe had at LSU tho.

When is the last time we had someone even remotely as good as Chase or Boutte? It’s still LSU they’ve had some serious talent… wish we could have 1/3 the talent they’ve had

You don't think Key and Brown compare to Jamar Chase?
No I don’t. Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are 2 of the top 5 best receivers in the league. They may be top 2. They also had Terrace Marshall, who was a 3rd rounder. Pretty good for their 3rd receiving option. They also had Clyde Edwards-Helaire, a first round pick. That LSU offense is probably the greatest of all time. We don’t compare.

Do what?

1. Finding a Joe Burrow in his first year at UK would be unheard to imagine we'd find one that good
2. Chase and Jefferson in no universe compare to Key and Brown in their 2nd year. We are still not sure if Brown is a 5* kick returner vs. pure WR at thsi point.
3. Then Clyde Elaire vs. whatever we have at RB....not even close
4. That LSU Oline won the Joe Moore award for best oline....pretty sure Horsey, Burton, Flax, Cox, etc...will be even in the same breath as best Oline next year
5. Maybe 2nd most important part was Joe Brady as OC.....UK has nothing close to that as OC possibility right now.

Id be happy if UK could put up top 40 offense next year....much less be all time greatest offense.

Wish it were true but it just isn't, don't know what they saw. Joe Brady since 2019 has had at least 20 better college job offers than anything UK could give. and dude has zero, zero interest in coaching in CFB again.

He'd obviously rather be an NFL position coach than college playcaller. He doesn't want to recruit, period. despite the record breaking offense he helped call in 2019, Coach O got in his *** a few times about not pulling his weight on the trails.

Joe Burrow is also one of the smartest and biggest killers at QB we've seen. All Brady had to do is really set him up with what he did best and go.
Even if you gave Brady all of the talent, finding the QB will be extremely difficult.

Certainly helped having who's probably top 5 best QB in the NFL taking the snaps.
