Guess you have to ask yourself if he came to Nebraska as a freshman, would he have worked out here originally? Had he transferred to Nebraska, would he have been the starter last/this year?
If he was the starter here, he would be playing with a lot less talent than where he's at now, and that might add up to the same record as Nebraska has presently.

exactly. I hope Burrow has some wheels on him because IF he played for us this year he’d have Dline men in his face as soon as he snapped the ball 60-70% of the time.
The bad snap was recovered by Martinez. The legitimate fumble was a scoop and score in the 2nd quarter by NW.

What is hilarious is the comparison. No way does Martinez have the arm power or accuracy that Elway has. It's what got him drafted. For you guys to suggest otherwise......
All of this talk is based on one assumption-that he would have come here if we had pursued him as a grad transfer. That's a pretty big assumption.

There are other players on the team too, and other QBs. I support them as well, and if the starting QB is playing below average I think the backup deserves the chance to at least see the field and see what he can do.
